About Me

I am currently 27 years old. At present I am employed by CSC FSG (Financial Services Group). I head a small team of programmers providing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions. Past jobs include a variety of roles including Multimedia Designer/Programmer, Software Engineer and Web Designer/Programmer.

In 1995 I married my long time girlfriend Gill, in 1999 we had our first daughter Chloe.

Spidersoft

Spidersoft was formed in 1987 by myself. Since this time the company has produced a variety of software titles for the Acorn platform of computers. Sadly Acorn themselves are no longer in existance although there are still a large number of machines in circulation today and many Spidersoft products are still used. I still consider Acorn to be my home in the computing community, and probably always will do.

Spidersoft have had to move with the times, and now specialise in Internet technologies.

Hobbies

Gill and I have a pet Iguana (yes Iguana) called Eric.

I have a massive interest in music, whatever I am doing there is usually music playing along in the background. I don't care too much for modern "no talent, all generated by computers" music age that we live in today. I'm usually caught listening to various styles of rock music, some of my favourites being Joey Tempest (ex. lead singer of Europe). My favourite album of all time though is the 1997 album Capricorn by Mike Tramp

I am the moderator of the Internet newsgroup comp.sys.acorn.announce.
