![]() ![]() X-Filer is a simple WIMP front-end for the excellent X-Files program from Wonderworks. X-Files allows images to be created where any number of files can be stored within a given directory. Long filenames can also be used. However, X-Files does not come with a nice front end. Creating X-Files used to involve going to the command line and typing in various commands. This is why X-Filer was developed. It simply adds a standard filing system icon on the right hand side of the icon bar, and makes creating new X-File images as easy as possible. It is also possible to store the original X-Files module within X-Filer and X-Filer will automatically load and kill the module as required.
